Abstract

 Internship is a compulsory subject for seventh semester students in the S1 Agribusiness Study Program, Department of Agro-industry, FMIPA, Padang State University, Sijunjung Campus. The internship activities carried out by this author are in the CV. Faruq Farm Sipuh Banda Dalam which is engaged in semi-organic integrated agriculture. One of the fields that the author learned during his internship at CV. Faruq Farm is a method of Maggot Cultivation which functions as an alternative feed for probiotic broiler livestock. The purpose of Maggot Cultivation is to reduce feed costs but not reduce meat quality. The method of implementation is by carrying out direct practice in the field starting from caring for brood flies, harvesting BSF eggs, hatching BSF eggs, feeding maggot caterpillars, caring for biopons, and pre-pura harvesting. The result of this activity is to produce animal feed for their own use so that the protein needs needed by broilers in CV. Faruq Farm.
